Elisabeth Dzuricsko is an artist educator working in the Chicago suburbs.
My work explores themes of community, family, alternative timelines, suicide prevention and place in the universe. Family narratives and interactions are encoded in an ongoing lexicon incorporating rabbits, dinosaurs, disco balls, security envelopes and lab coats. Materials, imagery, and media are the experimental vocabulary used for a continuing narrative(s) proposing more hopeful outcomes for the cast of my cosmos.
